Hi, welcome to house of cause and L G B T Q I, a two plus podcast when we talk about gay ship. Yeah, my name is Jackson. I use it. Says my pronouns before my name. Okay, well, Jesse's go on. Oh, hi, I'm Jackson. I use the name pronouns, and Jess is being kidnapped by aliens as we speak. Um, pop off, juste. I could just introduce myself while we wait for Jess. Yeah, we'll just well, jess is currently being stabbed five times. Yeah, well, you know. Okay, Um, hi, I'm Simone. Are usually they pronounce and I'm like really hot, H is that it? That's okay. Um, jazz, Jesz, Jes. Well, you can find us on social media. On it's underscore podcast, on twitter at lgbt underscore deck and on tick and on Youtube, as we we swear, we have another Co host. We just we just he's dead right now. Yeah, he's just, you know, rotting in his great right now. It's fine, cursed right now because none of you shopped to them. Shut up. I was dealing with stuff. That sucks. I'm always dealing with stuff. Jesse, who are you here? Um, so I can't hear you, but I see the thing that says you're talking. Yeah, it's now. Can you hear me? Yes, Oh my God, I had to rejoined like six Goddamn Times. Do you want to introduce...

...yourself? Uh Yeah, so let me explain what just happened real quick, because I was a little scary. So Jackson started introducing and they said this is an L G B T Q I a plus, and then it kicked me out of the call and I was really confused because I thought that you kicked him out of the call, because you do that sometimes because you're a nasty little Goblin man. I don't think I've ever kicked you out of the call, except for one acent half Um. So I was like. I was like, oh, that's funny. So I rejoined and immediately as I joined, my music started playing, and so that was really funny because I thought that my music started playing. So I was laughing, and then you guys were laughing, I assumed, because I disappeared, and then Um, and then I started introducing myself and then Jackson cut me off because we just wait for jess to come back, and I was like, I'm here. I could hear everything you guys were saying and you were like Jazz, where are you? Oh my God, we have to wait for jess like what's going on? Like, where's Jazz? Like, where's Jass? And I had to join and recall like eight times and I had to like close on my apps and everything, and finally, finally it worked. What was that? Can you hear Jessima? Don't, don't sing. No, sorry, just went off. We can hear it. I can't hear it. anyways. UH, crisis averted. I'm just my ship doesn't work. I use he the pronouns. And I am also very hot, Um, both in the literal in the temperature sense. Uh, and I am very excited for something that's happening in my personal life. Did you say literal and temporal, temperatural? I said like temperature, like little, like I'm hot and I'm also like hot, you know, like. Well, it's not both a literal. So you're hot in that appearance way and hot in the temperature way. Okay, you know, let's listen. I'm tired. Okay, when...

...aren't you tired? UH, earlier today, because I did a deep clean of my room. Oh, so that re energized you? Yeah, no, I took my pills for the first time in like four days and I deep cleaned my room. Yo, epic. Oh my God, Bestie, I don't know how take Your Med's kids. Um, anyways, have we already promoted and everything? I missed? Yeah, we we've. We've been actually, we did the entire topic. We actually ended. Uh, you kind of missed the whole thing. Well, I think, unfortunately, every has been consumed by the ants from someone's bedroom. Last episode, last episode, literally, whatever episode that was. Um, it was. I don't know when we're posting. We're not this, so it looks like what what went on? We have I haven't posted an episode in five weeks. Guys. What I'm joking. The way that I could do that could just be true, when I wouldn't know it exactly. That's what I mean is I can do whatever I want with the podcast. Like I'm always like hey, guys, can I do this, and you guys don't respond. So I've kind of just Gott into the MEDA like you know what my podcast we're brother, you're you're the we're just here to surface and look cute. Okay, exactly. I can't wait till if we do a question now, like the future, if we ever got famous and like so, Jess, tell us how are the podcasts made? And it's just either like uh, like me with like flash cords trying to show you, like what's the possess of an episode? I'm like, I don't know. I show up, I read the script first time while we record and then I leave and I have a six hour power NAPP and they're like no, but who writes the script? I'm like Ah, Oh me, it just appears sometimes. You know,...

Simone, actually, I've simone. Actually, I believe it's the aliens that live in Avery's attict that write it. Honestly, we don't have an attict. I mean, Oh, oh, I don't know if we've talked about this yet. Me and avery are moving in together and Simone. So me and Simone. Doesn't know this, but I'm moving in with Simone as well. But move on with Simone. I'm coming with you. You kind I don't remember packing the suitcase and then while driving it's your out, terrible. By the time this episodes out, I'll probably be I don't know, Um, I honestly thought you said dead. I was like, Damn, I'll be dead, but September, me and avery will be officially husband and wife living together. Um, in Florida, in Florida, retired. We have a pillow that says we had sex here. Um, I wish I believe Avery's idea was. It was avery's idea. Let's just remind everybody that avery is a resident, a sexual and also, if you're confused, uh, husband and wife, Jess, aren't you gay? Yeah, what about it? With the amount you've talked about women, if you don't watch the episodes entirely and periodically, you could assume jess as a straight man. Yeah, if you cut out all the parts where I say I'm gay or like, just like that. But there are there are episodes where you talk about women as if you are attracted to them and never say that you're gay. So there's a complete possibility. There was a group of people who just fully believe that you are a straight trans man. There's like a four percent of our audience that's like, Oh, yes, just straight, same with Simone.

Honestly, like the only person who I think period they would know is probably buys avery or like Queer, because then, at least once an episode, avery will be like gay. Everybody woman and then yeah, and then we'll all agree. No, they probably think simone is honestly like, not bisexual, but like a lesbian, because Simone is like women. Oh men, like literally, I don't think. I don't think Simone has ever said I love men, because why I don't know. I don't know if any of us have said we love men. Oh God, Damn, Simone, can you hear me? Yeah, we could tear you the entire time the minute we start talking about men. My skype disconnected. Skype hates men conformed, and literally we should. I'm a bisexual. Miss Andrews, put that Sh awhite grape make button. You're not. You're not, just would the exact opposite of that, and the way you identify says your sexuality. You're a funny little d just a funny little dude that likes funny little dude. I'm sorry, you should be um, but yeah, ignoring the Shitty Transition Marler, that we can't use. Probably. Can we use that? No, no, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna say no on that. Um Ah, what transition should we use? Yours, smile. What the fuck did you just do? What everything just disappears. Did you replace my...

...script? That's not anything. That's that's the middle of last week's script. Yeah, it just got replaced. Okay, let me just okay, okay, it's back and just do you clearly undo button? Guys, come on. anyways. Um, dude, how to transition to this with that? Maybe we just don't transition. Guys pried month. Um, why is everything ship okay, somebody who highlighted it. They highlighted everything. Oh No, I only highlighted. I'm a bisexual, Miss Anders Bro UH, incorrectly highlighted, highlighted. Okay, nobody else. Nobody touched the fucking document. This is why. Okay, wait, it's it's still fucked. Oh my God, no, it's not. We need a new document. What the fun we do? It's believe every uh, it's simone the forest. Yeah, it is fucked. Sorry, give me a second, give us. You know, Jackson, don't touch it. Don't touch it. I just fixed it. Now it's broken. Oh, trust me. Okay, yeah, we needed we need a new document. Yeah, there's fifty four thousand words on here. Okay, yeah, no, it's fixed. Sorry, they had no this small issue is that you had me and then simone talking and then it would been me again. So you said, no, I know, I know, but like it's good. Okay, it's Um, your anniversary, it's it's disability pride months. Uh, yeah, smiles. Yeah,...

...let's get into it, um anyway, with pride month over and a July in July. July's here. Um, let's talk about different kind of pride month and disability. It was unreadable, brother, um. Disability fresh basket of events. Isn't fun. Um. Anyway, disability pride month is in July. Of the world population, or one billion people experienced some form of disability. So, needless to say, that's a lot of people who deserve pride. Smile, Um, today we're going to talk about why July's disability pride month and you know, not like August or something, and different types of disabilities also, like there's a lot more than one bit people who experienced disabled. Is Um. Disabled is Um Um. But you know, I think that, yeah, sure, that's right, Um, in America, because the world involves around me, July to the six disabilities act, or the A D A for American disabilities acts, was made into law, was signed into law. This is sorry, Oh, I'm sorry, I'm not a social student. Well, you know, according to my diploma mark, I've not either. Diploma mark a D A was a civil rights law that prohibited discrimination English student, neither discrimination to those with disabilities, as this meant they could not be discriminated against, because discriminated against in all areas of public life, such as job, schools, transportation and all public and private...

...places that are open to the general public's nothing about that. An eight, the American with Disabilities Acts Amendment Act. That's a lot of a's. A D A, a a a dad was signed into law and took it back in two thousand nine. It made amendments to the previous act of the change the definition of disabled as more information was brought forward. Say, yeah, smile, yeah, that's like say could okay, cool. Anyway, I'm not sure if there was anything before July because Google was like that ship has been hidden. But any we're gonna talk though, the similar act called the accessibility Canada Act. One moment. Guys, Jackson is going to find the accessible candida to act and bring them on as a guest. Do you want to know what the first picture when you search gay is? No, Lizzo. Really well, actually it's a second Um. The first one is a picture of two dudes with a beard, with both with beards. Um, one's kissing the other one's neck and Um, both their beards are really patchy. Anyway. The accessibility bill, Finn Wolfard accessibility Canada accessible KINDA act which hope to create a barrier free Canada for its citizens. He legislation. The legislation benefits all Canadians, especially people with disabilities, through a proactive identification, removal in prevention of barriers to accessibility in seven priority areas, employment, the built environment, information communication technology, I C T communications. Other than I set the design and delivered program and services, the procurement of goods and good...

...services and facility and transportation. I set my promise other nations that have disability acts, of France and Thailand Tokey, Israel, find China, Australia, United Kingdoms, Ireland and many of the nations with either an act in the wooks already in place. I'm back. Oh sorry, we didn't miss you. Um, so the so, if you can't tell why that disability pride mouth is in July, it's because both acts will put into law in July. So you know they were not put into law in August. That's why it's not August. Yeah, and also August is my birthday, so it's my birthday. There's nothing else happening. It's my both month. That's IT, guys. It's a it's just do you have no idea how upset I was when I was young when I found out my dad and my grandma she had my birth month. I was so attacked. I was like, guys, Virgo I've ever met in my entire life. I'm not going to say that because that's really rude. Say it. No, I'm not going to say it. Say it. I promised not to. I dare you. You can just cut it out, your mom. That was that was. I literally I don't want to be here anymore. Okay, I thought you were going to be super like transphobic or something like yeah. Well, I was going to make a ship joke, but I was like, no, I promised not to to our yours, I'm sure have so many bisquito bites. What no, Jesse, your six six. I've been told I have tall energy people that don't know me in real life and have never heard my height. I thought that I was taller than I am. Do you know how I knew you were shut when I met you online for the first time, because I probably opened with high. I'm jess, I'm five one.

No, your profile picture was that. Who? From? Who? whose email? I was like, this is a show person. So my instagram is that one tiny kid. Cut that out. No, no, it's just that profiled picture, and I was just like this is a small person. That's a small but then like again, when I met you, I was like wow, you really are small and you were just like I was like this is this is the end of the friendship. A little did we know they would actually be an end to the friendship a few months later. And then a red weight. Wait, what, what? That's today, just as done for like three weeks after our therapy session. Get out here. Instead of the three weeks, it's been two. What's cut my hair like at the Queen Scam? But you have to read. Um, there are many types of disability. Let's talk about a few of them. Smile, you know everyone's supposed to read about this, because I was calling every out, but then she was like I have to do and I was like fine. The most common disability is physical disability. Oh commonly? No, not common. This is common. This is commonly paraplegia and Quadriplegia. It is meant to include people who have lost a limb or, due to the shape of their body, cannot fit easily into society. But, um, there are also neurological disabilities, such as damage or issues with the nervous system, like I have, which is why paragraph as well. Damn all right, but leads to mental or physical dysfunctions. Mine personally affects my memory. Put myself on blast. Yeah, let me put myself on blast. Actually, no, let me put my middle school in blast. No, honestly, fast, save that for the court room, Bestie, you're so right anyway. Um, this means they may not people do use the Pronoun.

Yes, yes, you are correct. They may not be able to move easily or manipulate things. So wait, what? Or the way they act, okay, or the way they act or how they express their feelings, as well as the way they think. Manipulate things, you mean like control things, like hold up a water bottle, move it to the size. Yeah, I don't think that's the manipulation. No, it doesn't mean manipulation has a mental thing that people with people. I'm yes, UH, speaking of bbd, there are also learning disabilities. That's not bpd. Is Not a learning disability, but justice here to disinform all of the children. Anyways, this paragraphs about me. So there's also learning disabilities. People with an intellectual, learning or cognitive disability. How produced capacity to learn tasks or process information, my therapist told because, say, take a learning disability, maybe take in information or communicate what they know. Learning difficulties can cause difficulties in reading. Okay, okay, okay, okay, Um, okay, somebody has to be kicking me from the call, because there's no way that I've got disconnected five times. No one has touched it. No, Oh my God, every time I like hi, cheer, don't you see bable we're gonna get copyright strike for that. Every time I start to talk badly about myself, it just kicks me off. Dude. Literally can cause difficulties in reading, writing or mathematics. A people with this disability or off intelligent,...

...creative or productive. Thank you. They just need help with the way society tries to teach them. They are also the psychiatric disabilities, which are commonly misunderstood. Nobody understands me. Mental illness can include stress relating conditions made of depression, bipolar disorder, formally called Manic depressive illness, anxiety and schizophrenia. Depression is the most common non psychotic mental illness, being a disorder which features the loss of contact with reality. Fun fact, I don't know if this is fun. Actually just a lot of what you say is actually sad more than fun. Um, which one of these? Bipolar disorder is actually, statistically the one of the more rare mental disorders. A lot of people that are diagnosed with border or bipolar are actually borderline, Um, which is which is interesting. And then also, I'm reading a book about bpd right now. There's two types of mental illnesses. UH, there's state and then there's trait. So state is things like depression, anxiety and Alexia, stuff like that, things where you know it often comes in in states, you know, like episodes. You know it comes and then it goes, whereas traits your actual it's it's personality disorder. So your actual personality, your actual being is yeah, borderline is really under and over Diagnos but Um uh, it's your actual like state of being. Is the disorder. Um. So I just I just had to put that in there because I've been reading a lot about borderline and personality disorder recently and it's really interesting what we know and what...

...we don't know and what the differences and the similarities are. Um. But if you struggle with any of this, I just want to say this super quick. Um, penis, because, yeah, if you struggle, penis, Um, because I feel like a lot of people, myself included, myself included. Uh, it is okay to ask for help. Uh, it is okay to need help. Uh, and it is okay to not be okay. And unless you're anyway, unless unless you're Jackson and a lot of these things, you're gonna need stuff like therapy and medication, a little bit of extra support to get through, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It is even even if it's just in your brain, even if it's a learning disability or a psychiatric disability, it's still a disability. So don't forget that. You are should not be ashamed for needing help. If you struggle with something like a mental illness or a D H D or Dyslexia, shout out me, Um, get yourself help and love yourself. Yeah, there's most in visible disabilities. Jess, going deep and dock me. So sometimes people are blind. I also can't see, which disability, which affects ability see properly. Only five the population, though, is actually fully blind and can't see anything. Most of us just can't read the fucking signs when driving, and so we tend to hit other people. Yeah, it's super because my my vision is ship but I also can't read. So there was also hearing disability. Yeah, it's like, Jess, what does that sign say? And I'm like, it's far away and also I can't read. There are also hearing disabilities, which can be caused by a large and of different issues, like your mom. Uh, though, there is a difference between death and hearing impairment, which are not to be mixed together. That we have talked about a lot of different types of disabilities, and that who...

...wrote this script. God, I wonder. Literally, like, like we said, there are a lot of different types of disabilities and a lot that go unhoard of or seen by society. You just just stupidity or cruelness. Each disability is valid as fun, except like, like the disability itself is about as fun. But, like you are who have them. I know what you mean. disabilion. That's what I'm good disabled, just by TB, I ballots. Yeah, is valid. PPD valid as fuck, just not simone. Um. Yeah, hi, okay, blue, shut up. Someone has just read the script literally, so rude. Anyway, here are some ways you can support them. They're anyway. Here. Here are some ways you can support a disabled person. Ask first and follow their lead. Everyone is their own expert on themselves. Let them tell you what they need, Um clearly, and listen. Well, UM, anyway, platous ship. Yeah, I don't write half the script I'd make anyway. The children in my basement rite them. Be Pat be patient with like speaking to people with disabilities. Be Patient with yourself, you know whatever. Um, sometimes people have terrible hearing or can't focus as easily or, you know,...

...can't read. Okay, I wonder who can't read, Jess, it's not me. I can read very well. Read this sentence right now. So I don't get angry at someone or Yelle, because they can't do something like and don't stare at them literally rude as fuck, unless they feel the only person I start is your mom. Yeah, unless they're disabilities, big honkers, like don't stare at the or like a massive but dont a dollar. You're just going to like the government. You're like, I have like a disability tech o. What are you startling with? A huge tips, my mommy milkers are so massively why am I being right now? There? See, if a man actually wouldn't to do that, the government would hand him a paycheck. Really well, dude, to like passes, back and neck pain, migraine and stuff like that. Oh my God, Miss Summer. Anyway, let's finish. Let's finish the script, because we've been recording for two minutes and unscript Um. No matter how people may look or act with their disability, don't stare at them. It's rudess. It makes them feel self conscious exclude them more from society. If you help someone who's visually impaired off your hand, do not take theirs. And remember to treat everyone as an equal. Blue I talks wedding a chair. Um. Remember to treat everyone equally. Should be doing it anyway, but people who are disabled are often treated them less than equal when they're not obs. You really like obbs, don't you? Jackson? I was exhausted because I didn't want to write another I was exhausted and didn't want to write another script. But I don't see anyone else volunteery. I could have done it. No, you didn't. I'm like, Hey, can an you also, and you're like I...

...literally volunteered, Bro and then you're like no, I already wrote it. No, you said I can't. I was you had something to do. I was like no, you, you will walking. You will walk in until like three o'clock, and at that time I had already done it and it was like I have chores to do it. I was like, okay, are still needed to be bought for. While we may have the acts and laws of place, we have to make sure everyone listens and follows this laws and acts, because people are dumb and they won't. We also have to remember disabilities are not always something that you can see and you can't assume somebody is lying just because they, quote unquote, look normal. There's so many different types of disabilities you have to be aware of and awakened to awaken remember y'all are valid as buck no matter who you are, unless you're ABBs Dick Jackson. Rewrote that because seconds. No, because Penis, Oh, God, guys, we're going back to Simon's pre era before when she was just writing penis and changing the script. We've gone back in times. We have awakened. Anyways, we have awakened and Simone is now at their true potential. Actually, last time Simone was like this, they were on bad books, Spanish inquisition in the okay, I thought it said Penis, penis, penis, banished the penis question. Penis, penis, Penis. I really can't read again. Thank you. Thank you so much for listening today's episode. We really hope you don't enjoy it. Um We we have all been waiting on an email and it has not arrived. So either we're not doing this cool thing we apply to do, or they just haven't contacted us. I think they just haven't contacted us because we're like so hot and sexy that the US do. I edit this alp we watch. They're gonna email...

...us while we're at camping and I was a song and we're gonna check it at like twelve, I am at the same time together and all start screaming. I don't know. Anyway, thank you so much listening. Listen to today's episode. I will find out the hard way and we hope to see you next week. If not, have a good rest of your life. Is there anything to add? Oh, it is fact, random fact here and I'll love the cow. I thought say the thing. Stay.
