You guys like, yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, I think I gonna do is we are at sixty one followers on spotify, when we read we will sell reach sixty nine. When are it sixty nine? We'll do a special episode.

Well, my God, a hundred. We will start using our patreon more openly, because I think that's enough followers for us to like maybe get some money. Maybe are gonna be like bloopers of us. I think that's what I'm going to do, is I'm gonna like make bloopers of like every time one of the house of cards member said, Um, yes, the most or all of the brands that Got Edited Out, Aka me and Simone, all of the fucking time. Literally. Yeah, you know, what's actually something that's really quirky is these last two episodes avery has not done. Ava is not at Ritten the topic. Yeah, I kind of like yeah, come text me earlier today and he's like, by the way, Simon and I are riding today's episode. Okay, I was like wheat. Normally avery writes the episodes, but it was like it was like what to almost two o'clock and I'm like we have not talked about the topic, we have not talked about recording. Has everyone else forgot what has happened? So I text the group chat. Avery's getting tested, so she can't text back, so I just assume she's dead. Valid actually fun thing. That's what I last Tuesday before we recorded. I did not get a measure from simone the entire day. Like I thought Simon died. I thought Simon was dead. I was like how her tell Avery Samone is dead. How am I gonna tell avery, because, like I can't, like Avery's gonna be the first Usson I tell because of the park cast, right, but how do I do that? Like how do I bee? Like, Yo, we can't do it today because our friend is dead. Like I love how, like that was your one conclusion. Anything else you just like with no proof. I don't need the last night not texting you back. So it's because the previous...

...night simone was really sorry, samone was. I was like, Oh wow, samone hit the bay. Oh sumone hit though, Whoa, whoa a little bit too hard and ended up in heaven. When you hit them so hard, you end up in heaven. Yeah, Dude, I just only you know. Who else is a Homi, sexual mom, rain war twitter should anyways look like you're struggling there. So, aver, I'm going to steal your real quick, no proud, so quick trigger warning. Today we will be talking about anxiety. So just if you have problems with anxiety or stuff like that and they can cause such an attacks, you may want to just skip this episode, where we would love to have you here. We want you guys to be safe and the vibes to be optimal. But the reason why I took a bese part is just because of a fucking reason I had, God damn it, because of the reason that I'm that I got. I thought it, I got it, so okay, he out. Originally this topic was going to be anxiety and depression, but we realize that would be a very heavy episode and close to an Owl, because depression anxiety are very different things. Well, they go handinhand, normally they're not the same thing. So we decided that these next two episodes are going to be kind of a two part series where the the very closely relate to each other. We decide to anxiety for us because of just anxiety is normally a part...

...of depression. So we thought if we get anxiety done, we could talk about depression because we'll probably relate to this episode a lot more. MMM, sounds good. Did have a reason, to my madness, of why we're doing this forced. I know it's crazy, method to the madness. Anyway, again, this is your triggerboarding will have. Actually, we won't have a second triggerboarding because we can just get right into our topic because we don't have a game. We don't have a game. Goodness Gracious, so for you great I will be starting us off. So, yes, today we are talking about anxiety, doing the peace signs on ironically, we will touch on what it is one times of anxiety, as well as ways of coping with anxiety. So anxiety is the general feeling of uneased and can also be described as objectless fear. It's been described as less intense than fear but lasts longer. So, if you think about it, fear is like a really, really loud thunderclap just all of a sudden, like lab and ass cheeks kind of sound. It's loud and quick and powerful. Anxiety is like having a little Goblin dance on your brain for long periods of time and eventually it, like the pressure of that Goblin's dancing feet, sinks in. So it's not as loud but it's still it's quiet, but it's there and it's hard to ignore. So anxiety can cause discomfort and can cause states of misery. So people with long term anxiety are typically like unhappy in terms of like their overall mental state. However, that doesn't mean that people with anxiety can't be very, very happy people. Sometimes they might just like get into like a...

...slump, and this is why depression and anxiety are so off closely linked, because most people with anxiety will also experience some form of depression. Wonderful humans are prone to anxiety due to our nature to imagine and we call different experience. It is a normal human thing to be anxious. It's not just a like mentally ill porson thing. Everyone is normally anxious, like joity of us, all of majority of the time. Some symptoms that are both physical and psychological of anxiety can include trembling, sweating, hyper ventilation, which is heavily breathed, like quick breathing, nervousness, racing thoughts, uncontrollable thinking, heightened a littleness, feeling weak, increase hot right and so much more of these are just a few of them. There's so many more things you can feel. Some people have an intense feeling of anxiety the majority of their day, which can be related to an anxiety dist order or something I read in an old psychology textbook called like an anxiety reaction or reactions. I call reaction anxiety, but I just called put an anxiety soda. People with intense anxiety are prone to anxiety attacks that can last hours to days. I've a I know somebody who lide an anxiety attack for close to a week. They happen, but it should be said someone without an anxiety soda can still have anxiety attacks. It is may not be a slam. Yeah, okay. Helping with anxiety is a difficult thing to learn how to do. The best thing that you can do is go to a therapist to get more specified treatment and figure out what works to help you, especially if you have like an anxiety disorder. It really it's helpful. Of course that is needed if anxiety is debilitating...

...and effects everyday life. However, anyone can see a therapist for any reason and personally, I believe that everyone should go to a therapy at some point. Absolutely the purpose. Yeah, it's helpful, for the purpose of helping y'all. We've messaged some friends and done some other research to find specific coping mechanisms to suggest for anyone who struggles with anxiety, and by we I mean me samely. Well, you took the paw. We let know. God Im preppiness that I bet it. Helping mechanisms can only be done at home or in a safe place, while others aren't good for anywhere. So we're going to talk about the ones that you can do at home and are for shorter term stress management. So this will not help you in the long run. But say you're having a large bet of anxiety somewhere. Some coping mechanisms can only be done at home or in a safe place, while others are good for anywhere. So we're going to talk about the ones that you can do at home and are for shorter term stress management. A very common coping mics meth. A very common coping mechanism that was suggested via social media is practicing hygiene and self care. You know, one thing that I say is a you know, self care is like insalts, an eyeliner. So so there's some little tasks to take care of your physical wellbeing that I can use the feelings of stress that can overwhelm you at times. So these can include taking a bath, taking a shower, exercising, meditating, hydrating, brushing your teeth or making yourself a snack or a meal. Another thing widely suggested was taking a nap or going to get earlier possible, because anxious thoughts can often be tiring, and that's also kind of linked to why people with anxiety late. If that's often linked to why people with anxiety have noted that they...

...can't fall asleep very easily because they can't turn their mind off. Anxiety can come out of nowhere and it can happen anywhere you are. Like you could be walking down the street, boom, anxiety. Here are a few short term methods that you can do wherever you are. A lot of them simply seem to be breathing control, changing thought patterns and using the physical world to distract you from the anxiety. One coping mechanism, taken from an Instagram poll, is listening to music. For this to be as effective as possible, you will need music that makes you happy and will distract you, or type of music that assists you in slowing down your thoughts because, again, like say before, anxiety he is normally related to racing thoughts. There's no right way to do this, but we do recommend not listening to sad or angry music. That that will able on't health. It only will. It might you might be one of the special few. The article how to cope with anxiety from health linecom. I get it's from health linecom. How to cope with anxiety offered focus breathing and aroma therapy. Focus breathing tends to get you oxygen to your brain to help you rationalize those anxious thoughts that you may be getting on the go. A Roman therapy is also very useful, as it allows you to switch up your thoughts and your emotions, as smell is reportedly very connected to our emotions and can help you calm you down with the right smell. A simple way to do a Roma therapy while on the go is to keep something that smells good on you at all times, in a bag, in a pocket, wherever you can. Okay, longer term coping mechanism, this can assist in improving your quality of life and bettering your stress manaturing skills. Lifestyle adjustments like cutting out stimulants you may consume, such as caffeine, nicotine or alcohol, can significantly reduce overall stress, so can eating healthy,...

...hydrating regularly, sleeping regularly and consistent physical activity. That can be anything from like yoga to kickboxing. Personally, I do both. It's very fun learning your triggers and figuring out how to manage them. It's also very helpful in stress reduction. You can do this on your own, in therapy or with a trusted friend or adult, and ultimately figure out an escape route for when you encounter your triggers. This is because we can't really control what the world gives us, but we can control what we do about it. So the easiest way to manage having triggers that cause you anxiety is to figure out a way to get rid of the feeling of anxiety. The last thing I'm going to suggest is to out logic your anxiety, writing down what is stressing you out and coming up with small, practical and easy ish ways to fix the issue. This can be a bit hard, but starting with the smaller things can help. Just remember anxiety is a normal human experience that everyone feels, and you are valid as folk and the Yes, yes, I think those of most times Simons that were finished an episode, a topic actually as smon avery God every such a bit right, all of the good parts to herself. How road? Am I so rude? Finally, finally, we take every spot of the throne and look me and Saphona, finally getting the good parts right. I'm actually proud avery's the one that finishes, am I? Yeah, you normally put yourself for Jackson. It's mostly Avy and then I get a few spots every once in a while, but it's normally avery, Oh wow, well, or like the pots that simone does get as like like the last time some my own got. One was the hair move a one and it was two sentences long. WHOA well that doesn't even realize...

...how equality she is. Rip Um. Anyways, I actually had two things that I wanted to touch on real quick before we end. All right. So, yeah, one thing personally that I learned in therapy is understanding that anxiety isn't always something bad. Like obviously anxiety and like anxiety disorders have evolved way past like the Basic Oh no, I know my instinct. Yeah, exactly, like anxiety maybe is there to like keep you safe and protect you, and sometimes it gets a little bit out of whack. And the second thing is something that isn't really as well known, but like in this goes for any mental or physiological psychological disorder and like mishap, that mental symptoms can vary very easily manifest as physical symptoms. So, like in the case of like somatic illness, is psychosomatic symptoms, which I myself has experienced. It can be really hard to understand that at first, but as it like, if you do experience these things and it goes on with time, that is one thing that will actually help you understand your anxiety better, and that's really what therapy and management is all about, is understanding how your mind works. Just like we've talked about like while. I it's good to understand why, how your body works, so that you know what's normal and you know what you can do to help calm yourself down. Yeah, of course, good words, good words, good worth. We love words. Anyway, I think for episode have LOB Simone. Guys, guess what we did? What...

I have an under thirty minute video episode. Finally start making means Simone. The writers. How dare if you you go a bit, you go a bit on a few more rambles. I do, I do. You can't. Yeah, you're like, yeah, no, you got me though. But Anyway, guys, you hope you enjoy today's episode and we hope that you will at least tune in for next week episodes, which, I bet you anything, will be longer because depression is a much more heftier subject. But today's episode will help you get ready for that episode. So we hope you enjoyed we hope to see you next week. If not, we hope you have a good rest of your life and you know, if you enjoyed this episode, go to therapy. Go to if you enjoy the PODCAST, go to therapy. Why? If you like this podcast, go to therapy. I'm sure there's free op shows. Great, don't, don't make your friends for your therapist s amount anyway. Is there anything else? Bad guys go this fuck, except for Jackson. Whoop. That's rough. Well, yeah, I can't really think of anything on my mind, so it's a really like elephants hope to see by.
